Price to Florida
Bobrovsky to Montreal

This assumes Price is finished

They both have 4 years left in their contracts and both are difficult to trade.

Montreal gets a starting goalie for that $10m in cap space for the next 4 years.
Bobrovsky, while liking Florida, gets to be a starting goalie again in a big market. This might get him to waive his NTC

Florida, gets $10.5 million in LTIR and can use that money to pay other players.

Price waives his NMC clause so he isn't a burden to Montreal.

Everyone wins.

Good deal for all concerned . Rebuild can continue for the HABS. Next on the list is Weber!?

Why would Montreal trade for bobrovsky. He didn’t even get Florida past the second round. His contract is to high. You know no team has ever won a Stanley cup paying players more than 10 million. Price is the only player to make it to the finals with a salary that high. Why would they get rid of a bad contract to help Florida out with a worse contract. If that trade was made I would be asking for a hubereau to be thrown in. And that was a smart comment. If your rebuilding start be trading for a goalie like I don’t know the rangers back up or samsonov from Washington that you will be paying half too.
