MTL - 2022 1st (26th),2022 2nd (33rd),Jake Allen, Jonathan Drouin (50% retained at 2.75M)
NJD - 2022 1st (2nd)

NJ gets a solid top 6 addition in Drouin, who can potentially flourish with Hughes or Hischier and benefit from having way less pressure to perform than in Montreal. They also get a good 1b option with Allen. Two picks are also added to bolster their prospect pool.
I could see them making a good push for the playoffs next year with that roster, they already have a good pieces and those two players bring much needed depth to their roster

MTL gets a chance to draft both Wright and Slafkovsky.
Also trading key pieces like Drouin and Allen, with Price being questionable to return next year, would mean that they would probably not have the greatest of seasons and could have a shot at Bedard at the 2023 draft.

I like it but can see Jersey wanting someone like Ylonen over Druin.

Wanna make a good salary dump trade Weber and drouin to Arizona for what ever they want to give up. Montreal is sold on wright even though I don’t think he’s as good on what he’s being rated by scouting. Now trade anderson much as I like him amd think he’s an all around good player. Trade Anderson the 1 round picks they got from Calgary 22 amd the Florida 1st round pick to New Jersey for there 2nd over pick. Slafkovsky. Calgary finished high and Florida will next year. Thesepicks aren't going to bring to the table what they will get from slafkovsky will do. If Montreal was smart they would draft him first, then trade jersey for the pick. New Jersey doesn’t need wright. Wright is only ever going to be a second line centre. Montreals prospect pool is very good. Trade petry to Dallas for what they offer, that is 3 salary dumps, price isn’t being traded, and they aren't buying him out. Best thing for Montreal is him being on ltir due to the structure of his salary. Sign letang hopefully to a home town deal. If they draft wright then they have to trade Dvorak, trade him for whatever is the best they can get. They have to make room for caufields and romanovs salaries. I would love to see them flop next year to get Connor berrard but to pull another 1 over is going to be hard. The league doesn’t want to see a Canadian team win the cup especially Bettman. Tampa players don’t pay taxes so it makes it easier for them to sign amd keep players. Stamkos could of signed with Toronto but Toronto couldn’t give him 11 million dollars. Stamkos makes more money at 8.5 staying in Tampa. There goalie should be getting more than price but after taxes price pays he’s making more than price. Montreal players pay for taxes than any in the league with makes it harder for Montreal to sign players. Because of the cap. Montreal can afford more than almost every team in the league but the cap doesn’t allow them too.

Here’s another player that needs to be traded gally even though he’s well like this 6.5 million dollars is way to much to pay a guy that is going to be on the third line. Possibly on the fourth line. Right now he’s a third line right winger. That is way to much money to pay a guy on the third line. When you have to make room for caufield. There is a marhematical strategy. To building a Stanley cup contender based on players salary and the position they play. That is for gorton and Hughes to figure out. Well players have to have chemistry amongst one another. But you can’t hand out a goalie 10.5 million dollars and then hand out for example Toronto I’ll make as an example four forwards around 44 million dollars. There’s no room for a good goalie or a defense to fit in under the salary cap. You can’t win a championship with four players, you win a championship with team of 18 players a goalie and a back up goalie.
