If Dubois signs 8 year contract, then give up another draft pick. Maybe Montreals first round pick in 2025. By 2025 if Hughes amd gorton to there job right and develop what they have now Montreal should be a contender by 2025. That pick won’t matter giving up. But I honestly would wait until he is unrestricted and sign him and give up nothing. But he will loose 2 years with delevoping in the rebuild phase with Montreals plains in a rebuild. He wouldn’t have the chemistry for the next two years with the team they are building.
