I would LOVE to have the 5th, and you may be on to something trading Primeau for it. Primeau is the right age and cost to grow with Ottawa. Lindgren doesn't get that deal done, but Primeau would be a good centrepiece.
Since Melnyk is cheap, I'm guessing they'd want a D prospect who is still on his entry-level deal, such as Fleury or Brook. It would be an expensive trade for MTL, but if the player they can grab at 5 is a difference-maker, your deal might be the right fit.

I like it for Mtl, but I doubt you're getting that 1st rounder from Wpg.
I think a fit is possible, but wpg will need another D to address their issues, and Mtl has plenty.
