This is a horrible trade for the Jets. The Jets will trade PLD to NYR, LA, Anaheim, Florida, Tampa, Colorado or Dallas before they make that one sided trade proposed here.

Unless the Habs offer a top line center or better players for PLD they won't get him from the Jets. The Jets would be better off trading him to NYR, Tampa, Florida or the Kings for a much better return. Once he plays for any of these teams he'll forget about playing in Montreal.

I think the Jets would like this trade but it won't happen unless the Habs really want Quebec savior PLD.
